Ok my 5k froze 3 times yesterday while making beats.

i've never had a freeze with the 1k or 2500. ever ever. except once when "purging" files. i would go absolutely ballistic if my shtt froze while making a beat. you shouldnt get used to bullshtt like that when you put good money into a product. maybe you got a lemon?

Well....I use to be one of the MPC 2500s biggest supporters...at a time when everybody on this board dissed it. If you go back to the MPC 2500s first two operating systems you will find that it will freeze or crash doing certain functions. Everything is detailed here in the forum. But thankfully, all these issues were ironed out.

If you find an MPC 5000 bug and you want it fixed, add it to the bug report thread. The MPC 5000 will certainly get the same level support as the MPC 1000/2500 and perhaps even more.
