check this youtube vid supreme with a dope beat and he mentions what ive understood that no matter how much u think ur digging and finding something new at this stage in the game every record has been used.

so all this focus on findin new record i feel is misplaced but certainly if u enjoy diggin and collecting records i would not disuade u from doing it.
but i feel its more about how u flip it and how u put the track together plus even if u use the same record as someone else u can cath a different part of the sample and flip it different.

You're ignorant. Stop with this shit. When I say ignorant, I'm not trying to be mean, I mean it in it's literal sense as in you lack knowledge or understanding. I flip stuff that you wouldn't even think about touching. I flip shit that no one else has touched.

Can you tell me what record I used on my "Down the Rabbit Hole" beat? It's by a very popular artist.

The game used to be about finding the rarest things and flipping new stuff. Eventually because so many things had been flipped that people started focusing on how much they could change it and hide it. So yes lots has been flipped that is why a lot of newer producers are more focused on flipping hot stuff but making it totally different. Plus, there are so many parts to a song you could sample completely differnet parts and make completely different beats, etc, etc,

The possibilities are endless. Between chopping, samples taken, the way you flip it, how much you speed it up, etc.
That is a lot of possibilities....

So don't worry about it. Or learn to play a lot of instruments.

He says about 3:25 in almost every record has been sampled. ALMOST. Your kidding yourself if you think that every record ever made has been sampled.

You have one thread saying you stopped digging and only d/l off of blogs.

You have another thread saying it's impossible to get new samples.

It is impossible to get new samples if you only d/l things that people put up for download, but I'm not having problems.

And yes, I'm pissed when you seem like you're "trolling" but you're actually serious. I think you want to piss people off with your threads, so I don't see the problem with getting mad. And yes, I know who Supreme is. He doesn't do a whole lot to samples, it would be hard to find original shit if you're looking for a sample that sounds like a beat before you mess with it. I look for sounds.

Nope. Every single one. In the whole world. Even duplicate copies of every record too. Literally every record. Even unopened ones. Someone at the factory sampled it before it was packaged and went out.

JK. Obviously.
