how to sync mpc2500 to protools

Hi i got a mpc2500 and i was wondering how do i sync my mpc to my protools. What kinds of cables do i need in order to do that and do i need a special interface to make that happen.

To make it work you will need a pair of MIDI cables. These will be connected to your MPC and your PT interface (providing it has MIDI ports).

There have been countless threads here on how to sync various DAWS including Pro Tools, I'd be surprised if you find someone willing to explain it all again!
