Hi , can you dump sounds from a synth (nord modular or K station) to a Mpc without using a pc. I am stil a beginner tryingto figure out by myself how things work so I hope my question is not too silly. Thank you.

you can sample sounds from the synths into the MPC and you can sequence the synths from the mpc, ie plug in your midi cables, set your mpc track to Midi (not drum) and play your keys and the mpc will record and play back what you recorded as note data, the synths are still making the sounds.

you can. You have to record the dump on a sequence. just press record on the MPC when your ready to dump and do whatever your keyboard says to initiate the process
