lol dudes are emotional bout this, haha funny shit post say digging for enjoyment is cool and to find samples cool point to make was when u dig know that u aint the only mofo who found that record.

cos heard a dude say that you gotta dig to find original shit what ever u dig for aint original cos someone else found it and flipped it.

at no point did i say that ever second of record had been sampled i endorese re-using records that have been sampled and flippin them in ur own way.

funny how peeps twist words dudes got they knickers in a twist but neva mind a discussion board will feature different opinions

Can you tell me what record I used on my "Down the Rabbit Hole" beat? It's by a very popular artist.

i wouldnt take every word that supreme says to heart. The guy use to have his speakers 3 feet above his head and he didnt understand why he couldnt master his tracks properly until someone In youtube told him that they need to be in the same level as your head.

Exhibit A :
jpeg wrote:he mentions what ive understood that no matter how much u think ur digging and finding something new at this stage in the game every record has been used.

"Every record" implies every note pressed

Exhibit B :
jpeg wrote:but i feel its more about how u flip it and how u put the track together plus even if u use the same record as someone else u can cath a different part of the sample and flip it different.

And then you contradict yourself

any who.

JUST HAVE FUN

supreme got some hard beats check the vids he aint alchemist but would not say wack, beat diggin documentary is dope seen thats 2 or 3 years back nuthing in there invalidates what im sayin.

difference of opinion but this was more intended for peeps who have started digging this year that have been advised to find something original.

In 09 finding a record that no one has come accross or thought of using is slim to none a better approach would be to find something dope then play around and flip it into something different.

my shit stands but some dudes is stuck in they ways so they will attempt to pass there limited idealogies on to u and burden u with it, i say it aint a requirement get sounds from everywhere its all in how u put it together.

Anytime you make statements using the words never, always, every, everyone, etc. you run the risk of sounding dumb...
By jpeg Thu Jan 15, 2009 2:40 pm
risk is part of life cant be scared of have to generalise for the sake of brevity but at the same fully accept the exceptions to the rules.

dudes is sensitive about digging hehehe  i love old music from the 70's and them breaks it the heart and soul of hip hop always but i will use any method available to me.
