yo, i got the pads!!!!!!!! guess what???!!!!!!!! they work!!! the 1000 pads dont stick up as far as the 500 pads, but you can hardly tell, when you cut them, just cut them slow, and sorta cut leaning the sisors tward the pads you are cutting off, cause the rubber kinda wants to tear twards the good pads,. i'll post pics as soon as i get the style flip..... but the pads are a go!! :P :P :P

You might wanna use an exacto-knife next time instead of scissors. But good sh*t bro! Are the pads softer?

yo,. yea, the pads are a bit softer, and they dont stick up as much,. but its a slight difference, some may mot notice, unless you got a brand new mpc, with stiff pads.. i know i should have used a knife, but it was all good, cause it worked, and if i had not tried, we would all be sitting here wondering if the 1000 pads would work.. think if you cut the pads into strips of 3, then you could have 2 tone pads, gray, and black,. now im not gonna try that, i'll leave that for someone else.. hahaha!! later mpc fam

That does look pretty nice.
I'd like to hear a bit more about how they feel?
Is the responsiveness of the pads the same? Is there a tactile difference during work flow from the lower profile?
Nice job, the first one of its kind.
