I'm a bit of a mess when it comes to everything lol my mpc zips though are not that bad but not great hahha

I have zips labled "samples" and "songs" and some that have both sample and songs folders.
The sample disks go something like this:
Tr-909 > Bass Drums, Claps etc
Tr-808 > I may have one folder on some machines and no sub folder
Waldorf Wave > Hits, Pads etc
High Hat loops

Song Folders I save the samples and progs I use with them

Vinyl isn't the only sound source. I take dope sounds from whereever they come from. I could care less if they came off a fisher price drum machine. Dope = Dope! Also, the MPC isn't just a sampler. Don't put silly rules and limitations on your creativity! And don't assume how Pounds beats sound. He is one of the best on this forum. Do not sleep. Peep the forum mixtapes.

I have 20GB of drum sounds.... I don't know why. I use like 500MB the most. Basically the ones I took from vinyl, but I have every style I need. DNB, electro, Dirty South, Grimey, etc.

You never know what you will need.

I have them organized by Style --> Kit Name -- > Snares/Kicks/HiHats

1st lets explain something......I OWN both a motif and an MPC and other pieces of gear. Now unlike YOU I have the luxury of owning both a commercial studio and a home studio. So I have my motif drums on the MPC as well as proteus as well as my DR 202 and I can keep going on and on and on....and you bet your life against MY beats...ha ha ha F*ck outta hea jr....anyone who knows about me knows my beats....so do yourself a favor and shut your ethuggin a$$ up.

I would love to hear your beats after this too. LOL..... poundaproblem is a nice courteous dude and makes dope beats and has some knowledge....

Not to mention Motifs are pretty classic and dope, and also if you are a real PRODUCER and not just a beat maker you will be ready to PRODUCE anything.....

So get out of here with your dumbass.

I usually record fresh samples every time I make a beat. If I load something, it's by gong back to an older beat's folder and upload a sample from there. I do have one folder containing a few 808 kicks , because I don't own the actual machine itself, but I rarely use them.

To keep things a bit organized and don't forgetting about some dope sounds, I put a little sticker on a record's plastic sleeve (I don't put stickers directly on the vinyls cover unless it's really wack and cheap) when I listen through it and write down: "Kick A4, Perc B2, Snare B3 end of the song" etc.

My sounds are limitless I would sample myself shitting if it sounded dope...lol

now as far as the motif comment goes... first off you came out your mouth all wrong by saying pounds beat must be some dipset shit... yo you definitely need to listen more and speak less because cats on here got skills and are willing to school you cats that think its all about using limited resources. yo you have to expand your creativity when dealing with any art specially music. and to call another producers music weak by comparing it to others you are definitely looking to get the short end of the stick. my advice is learn youngin and keep the offensive comments to yourself.
