I have a mpc 2000 xl and when i sampling the maximum time i have is 2.3 seconds to record .I have like 90 spare megs on my zip ,can you incresae that time or does is save to ram?

ZIP is only for storage of sounds and sequences. You sample in the ram memory of your MPC. Unless you expand the ram memory of your MPC (max 32Mb) you will have no more than 2.3 seconds.

Press OPEN WINDOW when you're in the sampling screen, it should tell you how much RAM you have installed!
