I'm sorry i just hate the word support. It makes hip-hop sound like some sort of charity, like you're supporting them just because they make music of that genre. I don't buy music to support n8ggas i buy because i love the music on that album.

If sh8ts wack then i ain't buiying their album and i don't care who they are.

Really?? U think? Obviously the idea is to buy that record because you think it's good and that in turn will "support" the artist so he can keep on making good music.

i still buy hip hop vinyl. new and used. and there's been alot of re issues, cause vinyl sales are up. so you can get new old shit, not as collectible, but it's nice to only spend 10bucks on a brand new 36 chambers.

Thats not what i mean. The people who buy e.g. UK hip-hop for the sake of it being UK hip-hop because they want to support the scene.

I can't be arsed anyways. People could be here all day arguing like retards. I'm off to make a beat and actually listen to some hip-hop.

I bought Serato for two reasons. I can play out and all I need to bring is a laptop and little hard drive, no more heavy vinyl. But the greatest thing in my eyes is the ability to scratch any sample I want. I can record voicemails, tv, ambience, anything I can get on my PC and into MP3 format I can scratch and include in anything I make.

All my new hip hop music I buy is on vinyl. I don't buy CD's. If it's not available on wax. I don't buy it.
