just load them to yor mp then save to diff. card as snd. file if you save wav. with vol @200 it will save at 100 do this as snd. file it will stay at 200 next time you load (like my stuff loud!

Because everytime I load my wav to an external floppy using an external floppy drive it does not even recognize the file can someone please give me some decent answer because I've loaded my wav. sample onto the floppy the computer/PCys its on the floppy but the MPC cannot even pick it up or notice it why i DO NOT KNOW! cAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME TUTORIALS. i WANT TO TAKE THE WAV FILES FROM OF MY PC AND LOAD THEM ONTO MY MPC? hOW CAN THIS BE DONE?

which mpc? ill try to help but it depends what you got mpc editor can do this but my opinion is its quicker and easier to do in the mpc

If you actually owned the MPC2000 you could actually use the MPC2000 to convert wav to snd (as LOKI77 already mentioned) and save yourself the trouble of [buying] software.
But if you insist on a list of software, here are a [biased] couple off the top of my head:
wav2snd (I know, stupid name, but I wrote it about 8 years ago and it is free).
mpceditor (less stupid name, but I wrote that one too).

OS 1.72 can load .wav files, no conversion necessary. Now go away.

What are the steps for converting my wav files because I loaded the wav to my floppy disk using an external floppy drive. And when I put it into my mpc2000 it just says

I don't know why it does that. I put 4 individual wav files and the computer says tha their on the file, However the Mpc2000 can't read them.
My focus is trying to make the mpc2000 read my floppy disk? Someone said it could load both wav and snd. But mine didn't read my wav files so I thought converting them to SND was the best choice. Understand where i'm coming from, So thats why I ask how can I CONVERT MY WAV. FILES. INTO SND. FILES? Thank you all for your help!

mpc2000 os 170 added wav ability to the mpc2000.
On the computer your wavs MUST be 44/16khz and THEN ur 2k will accept them.
NOT ALL WAVES ARE 44/16! wavosaur, audacity, goldwave are free audio editors that cn change your wav to 44khz/16bit.
DO THAT.
If your 2k os is 170 or above, then you dont need to convert wav to snd. What you need to do is search on the boards cause this had been covered MANY MILLIONS of FOFILLION times.
