i own an mpc 1000 and i keep losing the punch from my shit when i record into cubase.
ive been looking into multitrackers such as the aw4416 and the akaidps24. i was wondering if it was possible to not only use these machines as multitrackers but to bypass the recording tracks and send the signal directly out and record it into a computer based daw. i was also wondering whether it was possible to then use the multitracker as a stand alone digital mixer and send the signal back from logic or cubase and mix it down on the multitracker (without recording) and send it back out to to the cubase as the master stereo file. i know this is a long winded approach to things i was just wondering whether it is possible to do this. help!!!
