I have an external floppy drive and my pc sometimes have trouble formatting it So I formatted in inside the Mpc2000 then when I put it into the external floppy drive the Pc can't even read it and ask me if I want to format it then it can't even format it. I really thought this site was to help every member with issues concerning the MPC. I guess you convince me wrong! I will still continue asking question no matter what?

A forum I found using GOOGLE for ONLY 30 SECONDS! wrote:Re: convert 32 bit wav to 16 bit
Hi
If there were only a few files I would use Audacity, because I already have it installed on my PC.

In Audacity, look in Edit > Preferences > Quality
It says 'Uncompressed Export Format', make sure it's set at WAV(Microsoft 16 Bit PCM).
Also make sure that 'Project rate' (in bottom left hand corner of screen) is set to 44100.

Then I would import each WAV file and straightaway export it as WAV. They will be exported as 16 Bit.

But if there are a large number of files maybe someone will suggest something less labour-intensive.
