OS 1.70 you can use .WAV

Now that I have the 16 bit wav I click and drag it to the floppy cursor and it ask if i want to format disk?

You'll need os 170 or above on 2k classic.

If it's saying that format failed when you try to format using Windows, it may be that your floppy is broken, they do that.

Also, stop making so many threads about the same thing, it's not getting any attention from anyone new. Stick with one thread, it's easier to keep track of the hundreds of questions.

He hasn't posted in about 5 minutes. Maybe his floppy was broken.

I'm still here you know I tried all the methods that are right my external floppy is brand new and the floppies are brand new. The computer says is good then as soon as I try to format it says windows unable to format However a few time it really did format. Whats the point of formatting with the mpc2000 when my computer ask again to format it? I love this learning process but I'll figure it out even if I ask questions!

why dont you just sample it into the machine? you cant fit that many wav files into a stupid floppy anyway. what are you gonna do? transfer them one at a time?
