i was thinking maybe with the addition of virtual banks (4dahaterz idea)like what roger linn did for the 3000 or/and 96 to 128 keys per keygroups u could get a few more sounds in the 5000(96 to 128 keys in a key group,96 to 128 sounds per key)so those extra sounds would fit .i know they cant add physical banks but this would be a great work around for 4000 users,thx

that option doesn't make huge difference besides it would be good to have it,bottom line i can live without it.Mpc 5000 with this new os2 should be what it should have been on first place,and it wasn't designed to have all features that 4k has.4k has some worthless features that 5 k doesn't need.

It shows 128 keygroups. The keygroups appears to give you up to 128 keys. You can assign the keygroups to the same range.
