yeah wasup people,
i got to know 2 things...how do you speed up a sample on the mpc 2000...and what cable do need to sample from my computer (you know a cable that goes from my mpc to the computer)....

No I do not know that cable since I never saw your computer, therefore I do not know what connectors you have on your computer. I know what connectors there are on an MPC though.

both can be foudn in the manual. available in PDF form from akai.com

Time stretch/compress is only available on the 2kxl. I may be wrong, but that's what you'll need to speed up a sample.

Now as far as connections are concerned and like the others have stated, you're the one that knows the answer to that question. But on the mpc, you'll need to use 1/4 in. male jack cables. If you have 1/4 in. ports on whatever it is you're sampling from, then that's what you'll need to complete the connection in order to sample.

It's pretty simple, nothing hard about this. But if you need help on discovering what it is you need to make things workout, then maybe this stuff isn't for you.

And as usual, familiarise yourself with some audio knowledge before you dive into this stuff head first.
