How select Midi input for a track

I have my MPC Midi Out to my Korg Triton Midi In, my Triton Midi out to my Pro-tools (Digi002), and the digi002 midi out to the MPC. Pro-tools is the master. I recorded a midi track on pro-tools by my triton. I want it to play the patch on the midi channel 2 of my Triton. The midi channel on pro-tools is set like:
in: all channels
out: midi channel 02
When I play the sequencer, the midi data on pro-tools is sent to MPC that send to Triton, that plays the midi data on the midi channel 02 patch. That´s OK.

The problem is:
That´s a beat on the MPC´s sequencer, that´s slaved by pro-tools. But the MPC is also triggering it´s pads by the midi data that´s been sent by pro-tools to midi channel 02. I´ve been looking for configuring midi in on the MPC track or program that´s playing my beat, but can´t find such configuration. I just find the Midi out. There isn´t a midi in field for a program on the MPC ?

So why I didn´t found it on the whole MPC manuals, nether on the MPC-Samples mpc2500 tutorial, and nobody seems to know it here ?
I´m starting thinking that mpc2500 don´t have a midi in channel select for the programs, and that´s really disgusting.

No absolutely. They just explain how to select a midi channel to the whole MPC to read, and ignore all the others. In that case I can´t select a MIDI channel for one program or one track, and other for another. I´ve still tryed this, but when I select the MPC to read the midi channel 2 for exemple, it don´t send the other channels thought midi thru to the other device (my triton in that case). And that really sucks.

Well this can be a solution. Although that being the only solution is a little disappointing about MIDI features on the MPC.

Motu midi interfaces work well with any DAW. I've been using them for almost a decade now. A midi interface just expands on what's already there, it allows for a more complexed routing matrix that you couldn't otherwise get without one.

Yes but since is a usb interface, we will got drivers and setups to make it running, and pro-tools isn´t the most versatile software, so is good to ask if anyone ever tried...

Well I´m still looking for a solution to start working now while I don´t buy any more gear...
