Man ever since i got my mpc used from this guy ive had a lot of problems on saving (dont get me wrong a part from that i am in love with it lol)... i posted a zip drive problem that i was never able to salve.... well i did at one point then the problem was repeating itself
Now i installed a card reader that that same guy gave me without the given cables(not an official one from mpcstuff)
i researched on how to make the power cable which i did and works perfectly and took the other gray cable from an old old computer i used to have (which i dont know if it works as well)
Now i upgraded to os1.2 (its now reading my card reader atapi)
whenever i save something it saves it on my card i go to load to load the sequence or the sound and its still there BUT... when i close my mpc then go on the loading screen theres nothing there (i guess the info is getting saved on the ram and not the cf reader...
everything on my screen is as it should be for atapi device
Im thinking maybe the old computers cable is not working right
i know this is a tough one but i wanted to get your input before i spend more money to get another cf reader from mpcstuff
also there was a thread posted with a lot of suggestions of cf readers we could get but they werent official ones with cables and all should i buy one of the other brand of cheaper costing card readers?
BTW let me just say im looking to try to salve this problem before spending more money i aint the type of dude that just tries to throw money around to salve problems lol
