zip disk reading problems..

Hi,
new here, but been checking for a minute...

Basically i was transporting my MPC 2000xl back from rehearsals and i noticed one of the clips on my zip disks scsi cable had been snaped......minor i figured...

But i can't load up anything and now can't find hte right cable to go from my zip disk (iomega zip100).

I was wondering if anyone knew where i can find the right cable...what exactly it's name is (as the connections are different on the mpc and zip disk) and where i can get it (a direct link would be great!)

If not, is there anyway i can get a zip disk to install into the mpc? and is this easy/expensive.

but the cable will connect to that but not to the zip disk...i guess i just gotta find specs for that

it's abit of a hunt.....my zip disk is a iomega zip 100

Here is a tip...
Go buy a cheap used Iomega ZIP250 IDE drive (This will fit inside the MPC), get a old IDE computer lead for connecting the drive, find a broken or useless computer power supply that you can cut the power cable off and some heat shrink tubing and solder....
cut a piece of the power lead that has the floppy connector just in case you need it and the propper molex power connector and splice it to your mpc power lead.
Now go fit your zip drive internaly it's a lot better
ZIP 250 drives are back compatible with your 100mb disks
