CD burning on JJOS

is the CD burning function the same in the JJOS as with the Akai OS?

I just asked this exact question 4 days ago look it up. Search funtion works.!!!!
as a matter of fact it's on the very next page..

so according to that thread, you can burn cd's with OS1 version 5.55 and up????
is that correct? i'm currently rocking 5.54.

I guess not , to me thats retarded. but what ever maybe in XL.

resample the beat you want on the cd into a single wav file. You can burn it from the save mode.

Can you read DVDs from the drive? It is, after all, a CD/DVD combo drive... I think. I just ordered a cheap Teac one off e-bay, which is a combo drive.

so JJ OS 3.09 will not burn CD's is that correct?

i have no idea why the official cd drive has dvd 'capability'. maybe that's how they justify you spending so much money on the crappy thing, even though it has no such 'capability'.

my only guess is that it can sample songs saved to dvd rw cd's. which is pointless.
