modified akai2000 lcd

Is there any way i can modified mine mpc2000 sreen lcd with a replacement
couse i can't see mine screen so good

im also doing a complete 2000xl re-model..

i know u have the 2000,but if you can get the screen out,its basically the same thing..

pixelated?
dull?
no light?
or just flat out gone?

anyhow,im just waiting for my parts,i ordered on sat,and monday was mlk,day,so prob by the end of the week i'll be posting

sure will,,i'll make a new thread on a "how to" and it will be full of pics....im doing

but just to let you know,,,my screen has "light burn" on it so even with the bright red light there will be a dark spot in the middle.....but if your screen is in good condition it will brighten everything...still waiting on parts and the companies i ordered from are taking forever..

You mean like a bunch of little squares? Mine is like that, what should I do?

theres a few things you could try,depending on how brave you are,,,but if your screen is "little squares" it might need to be replaced..and ive read a ton on lcd's vs crt's and from what i read,,lcds are not suppose to pixelate..and also from what i read,is ,if they do and you let them rest and let the screen settle,,,(not sure how long)..but there suppose to go back to normal....now this isnt me talkin because it dont sound right to me,,,,i think once the screen is damaged,ur best bet is to replace it.....my screen has a lightburn in the middle of it,and theres no way possible to fix it..so replacement is my only (non)option as i cant find a replacement anywhere for the xl

but on the pixelated lcds ive heard of trying magnets,,but theres a certain process of how to do it..
