love my 2000, simple user interface, big pads and good pad response , digit/data jog wheel, sturdy casing. it doesn't have the sound of the older mpcs and it doesn't have the extra and advance features of the newer mpcs, but it is what it is, a 2000...blahdah....

It was my first MPC I knew it in and out and I didn't even know about this place. I sold It after I bought my 4k and regretted doing it ever since. I recently repurchased another one even though it doesn't compare to the 4k its still cool to get on every now and then

I love mine, it's my baby, I bought it with max ram and 8 outs and I've replaced the sensor sheet and the LCD. As soon as the money is right I want to get a second one the exact same to customize paint etc. and have at the studio.

I rock the Classic too and I can't understand why some tw@ts diss it so much.
It's limitations just make the user think more and work harder thats all ;)

Ps

Diatonic thats one seriously slick looking machine, nicely modded!

I dont think I saw any negative things regarding the 2k classic that caught my eye any way lol

The classic is the bomb lol it looks just so damn sexy! I know some die hard mpc people didnt like it cos it wasnt a roger linn design but it's a great machine imo this, the XL and 4000 are the last propper MPC's made IMO the rest are just watered down things.
I have the XL but I would like to own a classic and have both MPC's, my friend has the 3000 and I get to use that too.

It is!
The XL may have the flip display and time-stretch but the 2000 data-wheel is brilliant!
