hello,

I've done a 4bars long sequence (Sequence-01) with some AUDIO tracks.
this sequence is the "core" of my song.

Then I copy Sequence-01 to Sequence-02 but
Sequence-02 will be 32 bars long (in order to put a solo).

When I copy, i put : number of copies : 8. SO it's okay.

Here is the problem : all the MIDI / DRUM tracks will play 8 times
(during the 32bar Sequence-02)

BUT the AUDIO track just plays once.

how to make the AUDIO track loop during the 32-bar sequence ?

Thanks
Al

i think you'll have to take the recorded audio loop which is saved a "Take #" and repeat it several times on a new track. Would be cool if the MPC could do that automatically though.

We should post a request ;)

uhh... did I miss something ?

if only the JJ OS had the akai style direct record...

Did I understand well: this is ironical ?

Or does it really exists a feature of Akai OS that doesn't exist in OS JJ ?

thx

i was not being sarcastic, the Akai OS for the MPC2500 and the MPC5000 have "direct recording" and "continuous sample tracks" which I feel are much better than audio tracks.
