Please help me decide for tomorrow

Can someone who used the 3k and the 2xl help me?

Tomorrow I'm going to buy my first Mpc, A Guy is selling his Mpc2kXl for 1500 dollar and his Mpc3000 for 2000.
(Not cheap here in Sweden)
I read the comparison between them to and they are mostly the same so it's hard for me to choose.

What Im think about the 2k is

2k:
Easier to use?
Has Flash Drive
8 years younger than the 3k
The spare parts are cheaper

3k:
Looks more cooler
The sound is better and not modern
May broke early because it was made in 92?
I heard that the 3k has better strength and quality


Why I'm asking is because I'm from Sweden and we don't have any Mpcstuff or Vst so I don't want to make the wrong choise and regret it.

Ps. I'm not into sampling. Why I want one of these two is becuase I want to record my Andromeda, Motif and the rest into the mpc and do the drums as well.

What's the 2kxl got? i.e. has it got 8 Outs, FX Board, etc? $1500's pretty steep. Have you looked into international sellers?

Taking advice from the internet is even worse.

Your best bet is buying an MPC overseas. An MPC 3k can go for 350.00 U.S.D. and the shipping and handling for at least 60.00 U.S.D. Do the math, its cheaper than paying 2k. I buy overseas all the time and DHL can get it to you in five days.

Apart from what's being said...If you're definately gonna buy from this cat, get the 3K...

Personally if you gonna pay that much save your money take cheap Ryan air flight to London and get a 5k...
If you cant resist go 3k.

Yes, It's very cheap but If the seller ships it to Sweden must I
pay more money (Tax money) And the worst thing is if it's broken.
I must pay money from my pocket to ship it back to U.S
The risk is maybe low but this things always happens to me.

If you are trying to "Record Into the MPC" as you wrote in this thread you are going to be severely dissapointed.

The device isn't a replacement for a DAW in which you track/record your jams. It simply does not have the memory capacity to do that.

Ignore my statements if you are going to use it as your sequencer and "record" the midi of the other devices, or if you're going to just pick-n-choose segments from your original work, because that is in essence "Sampling" but you're just sampling your own work is all

And neither of the two offer usb connectivity.
