Also a lot of the patches, and it sounds like there is a lot, are in fact the exact same as many others but it's a different patch cause it has different fx and filter settings. You will spend alot of time scrolling through basically the same exact cheesy shit but with slight variations. I'm serious.
I know what you mean. The Xpand synth that comes with Pro Tools is like this, except the sounds aren't cheesy. But most of the sounds are the same with different effects or sounds paired or tripled up to make a new sound.
