guys im very new to the forum so forgive me in advance.. am also a v happy owner of my new mpc5k 
but have been baffled by a few quirks in the grid edit window which are really annoying. ive only owned it for a week and might be doing something wrong, but here is a list of problems that im having in detail:
1) when clicking copy (on a single note) and then moving along the grid and attempting to paste it does one of the following:
a) paste in the right place (usually doesnt work!
)
b) paste in the wrong place (usually a few notes early to where i want it to place)
c) click paste and nothing happens (in which case i go back to the note and repeat the process!
)
2) i am desperately trying to copy a whole bar or a couple of bars of any given track in my sequence so that i dont have to re program the beats or synth notes over and over again.
so for example, create 1 bar containing 5 different tracks. I now want to copy this bar another 3 times to be left with a 4 bar sequence as an intro to my song. the same problems that ive listed above apply...
from reading the forums looks like this is a bug.. is there a way around this to speed up my work until new OS arrives? i shld prob look into step edit but not sure if this works for grouping which is what i want to do...
