Multiple notes playing from one pad

Sup Fellas,

After connecting my mpc 2500 to my computer, no matter what files I load, when I trigger 1 pad it triggers more then one note. Wether i am triggering midi or triggering internal sounds , it triggers multiple notes. This began occurring after I connected it via usb to my G5 Mac. I've disconnected it and tried everything but I still can't resolve this problem.
Please help.

So your saying that when pressing say A1 you get 2 different sounds? Like a kick and a snare layered?

Check the program menu and make sure there are no layerd sounds. Im not sure exactly if thats what your talking about but thats what I got out of your question.

IT'S NOT LAYERED SOUNDS. I HIT ONE PAD AND IT'S TRIGGERING 3 DIFFERENT PADS. I'M A LONG TIME MPC USER SO IT'S NOT THAT I'M DOING SOMETHING WRONG. IT'S JUST THAT AKAI DOESN'T MAKE AKAI. IT'S THAT ALESIS/NUMARK MAKE THESE PRODUCTS AND THEN QUIT UPDATING THEIR GLITCHES. ALL THEY DO IS MAKE A NEW MODEL AND HOPE YOU BUY THAT....
