MIdi Interface Latency issues help help help

Well first of all i wanna say thx to everybody on this site, cause i was stuck in hooking all my shit up, but with the help i got from the last posts I made, i been rolling, making some pretty hot stuff. But now im running into some more problems...

I have reason hooked up to my MPC 1000 with a Edirol UM2EX interface. It plays, records and does everything its supposed to.........But the music records so late.

Do I have to sync them somehow?

Does the interface I have just suck?

Does anyone know?

In the app that you use to record with, if you change the audio driver within it, you should notice a difference in function and performance.

No... i mean the notes are late recording into the MPC.

UM-2EX Drivers

Though I stated audio driver, this is the main driver that will cause unwanted latency issues and other abnormalities if the wrong one is selected or it's buggy and needs updating.

BTW, what app are you using?

Oh ok great. ill intsall it tonight when i get off work. Well Im making hip hop beats, so i got the mpc 1000 with the JJOS1, im running reason 3 using it as a soundmod, (attemting to record the midi sounds and notes into the mpc which is where the latency issue is, i havent got it to work yet obviously, but ive been still been making beats with just the mpc standalone...) and lastly I got the mbox 2 mini where i record the beats once they are in the MPC in pro tools 8.
