Is forat the place to customize your MPC??

By Toecutter Thu Jul 08, 2004 7:14 am
It would be easier to list artists that DON'T use a MPC... the list would be short and quick. I'd lie and said I use a MV if roland would cut me the checks...

Count Bass D uses a MPC 60.

....vintagesynth.com had these names up as MPC users, dunno know how up to date the list is but whatever..

Apollo 440, Jean-Michel Jarre, A Guy Called Gerald, Cirrus, Todd Terry, Underworld, Freddy Fresh, Puff Daddy, BT, and The Chemical Brothers.

Read in an interview that BT no longer uses his MPC because he totally
relies on Emagic Logic. Don't wanna burst the bubble though :)

Yes. They can customize and they have other services too. But they are pricey.

Everything MPC-related seems to be pricy.. :(

Try to upgrade an MPC60.. The 4k ADAT expansion board is/was about 500? An MPC bag in Germany costs 400 bucks! :P This is sick!
