Is there a way I can bypass my receiver and hook directly into the M-Box and be able to trigger midi sounds through Logic and record on the MPC? I have the M-Audio Keyrig 49 so it's USB. I have the M-Box Pro 2 as well. I know I can do it by going to a reciever then the M-Box but my damn receiver fried and I now have an old ass pioneer. Needless to say it has limited output/inputs Thanks

What do you mean by receiver? I assume monitor speakers?

If so, just plug the mpc outputs into the Mbox inputs. THen either monitor from headphones from the MPC or from the mbox..

An option is to connect your MPCs outputs to the M-Box's inputs, and the M-Box's outputs to the MPCs inputs. You can do this via analog or digital. You should be able to connect headphones and/or monitors (speakers) to the M-Box to hear both your MPC and Logic/Pro Tools. You can also choose to connect the monitors to the MPC and turn on the MPCs Input Thru so you can play/record Logic into the MPC.

Ok Askia, When you say MPC's outs to ins. Are you saying assignable outs on MPC to inputs on front of M-Box or the the line ins on back? And when you say M-Box outs to MPC in's, which in's on the MPC are talking about? Midi In???? No rush. Thanks bro.

I know this.Midi is just data. But if you have Midi and an Audio track(M-Box input) in Pro-Tools or logic both recording. The Midi info records to the audio track allowing you to hear playback.

Connect the MPCs audio outs to the M-Box's audio inputs; connect the M-Box's audio outs to the MPCs audio inputs. You can do this via analog or digital; your choice. Then do the same with MIDI. This way you can use both sequencers together.
