Hi Guys,
I am transposing the note of different pads on my MPC on say channel 1. The problem I am having is that the notes are changing on other channels too so other channels are no longer playing the correct sounds assigned to them.

I am using auto demix by channel if multitrack recording" in logic and record enabling all channels to allow me to play different software synths in logic on different channels. Each track is set to its own midi channel so transposing a pad on a selected track should not be affecting another channel.

Not sure why this is but it's driving me nuts!
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers,
Fraserboy

Which MPC are you using?

What method (function/ screen) are you using to transpose your notes?

Do you see a field on the screen where you can select PAD, SAMPLE, PROGRAM, MULTI, ONE, ALL, ZONE, KEYGROUP etc?

Take a good look at all your settings, including those in Logic to make sure you haven't overlooked something.

Hi Clint,
I am using the MPC2500 with JJ XL operating system.
I am transposing from the main screen by highlighting the notefield on the selected pad and transposing accordingly. Will have another good look at those note fields tonight.
Cheers,
Fraserboy :-)
