A guy who produces for DIPSET (I can't remember his name) asked me if I wanted to trade my 2500LE for his 4000. NO WAY! I will see if I can track down his YOUTUBE ADDRESS if you want.

Also have you had any problems at all with your screen, I read somwhere on this forum that the aftermarket screen had some kind of weird behaviour after installation.

Where'd you get the black buttons? That's all I need. The purp look alright too, but I won't go there with mine. I need those black ones though. Is that an LE with a black case or something?

I got the black buttons straight from Akai a couple of years ago. They were the remaining stock from the 2KXL SE versions. Call them and see if there are any left. Here's a XL I did but, sold it after getting the 2500. I really liked the XL but, needed 4 midi outs. FYI. I switch out the purple buttons with blue ones once in a while.

where did you get that red and black rec gain knob from the 5000?

mpcstuff or vst don't have any....
