Are the Pad Fixes for MPC 1k Out Again?

I finally am ready to buy the 1k pad fix and I checked VST and Mpcstuff and they seem to be out. Does anyone know the state of the fixes being produced and sent in again?

Speaking of.... I bought my MPC 1000 at Guitar Center a couple months ago and it is not the one with the new pads.... What the hell? So I guess I need to do this eventually too?

mine was used about a year-2 years before the pads went out. Now i can only use the top pads, and the others are a hastle to get through screens etc. So im about to upgrade. So you shouldnt have problems for awhile, but if the pad fixes stop being produced you will have problems if you dont get one.

if you cant find the new pads and want a like new 100% working set of original pads for $50 then hit me up.

You still have the waranty then. Use it, and get the new pads... Or just return and rebuy. You will be very glad you did. Trust me.

You should be able to have a Guitar Center associate call akai rep and they will order them for you, i did a few months back and they came in 2 weeks.

i got mine in australia for $120 AUD, then sold my original (and shit) 100% working pads assembly on ebay for half that. www.elfa.com.au, cost me $60 to migrate and bout 15 mins of labour.

Yeah Elfa were great, very quick delivery. Don't think they ship overseas, could be wrong though...
