specific question on OS upgrading

say you skip update 1.04, and went from 1.03 to 1.05....

-does this mean you dont get the fixes in 1.04?
-on each release does it indlude all previous fixes, or just current?

i was wondering because im sure other people jumped at least one update to the most recent, and if the most recent doesn't include all known fixes, then you gotta start back and install them in order.

anyone know?

It doesn't matter.....I have the mpc 4000 and I started out with os 1.21 and jumped all the way to os 1.51..........free of bugs and with all of the updates included!....

Ok i know this is a stupid question...but once i download the new os from the akai site how can i install it on to my mpc1000???

Try and follow these directions...........I got them from the "operating systems" thread in this forum!........

1)unzip the file
2) open and select all
3) move them to the E: aka mpc-1000
4) shut the ish down
5) turn it back on while you hold the window button
