The extra output board from a S2000 in a MPC2000?

I have been looking around and I'm still not sure

the S2000 board is called a IB-208P and the MPC board is called IB-M208P there is one letter difference in the 2 boards will this make a difference?

I'm curious to find out cause there is one going pretty cheap on ebay at the moment and the bidding ends tomorrow

I'm pretty sure that won't work. It won't even fit, the s2000's board is bigger.

Don't waste your money unless you've got an S2000 you can use it in.

I have a IB-208P on my MPC. Just fit and cut the extra metal board and change the bus (is too short).
Anyway, I recommend you try to let the job to an electrician or hardware expert.
I did not have no choice, cuz I never could obtain the original.

Can you post a pic of the ib-208p in your mpc please? :D

I have got a s2000 + the 8 outboard and a mpc2kxl with standart output. Before i sell the s2000 just want to know if it's possible to take the Ib-208p for my mpc.
I always think of doing this and i'm afraid to broke something:lol:

I find this http://www.midicase.com/akai/archive/2004/apr_jun/msg00330.html
