it s an akai s 3000i , i used to have an 2000 this one
a friend wanted to sell and it stayed in a store for
a long time, at the end it landed here, i am
inspirated by the posts here, i like 12 bit sound very much.

the korg echo is really super underrated as the rolads space
echos are in hype with fixed head presets, here u can chose what
head u adress.! 1, 2 or 3 or 1 and 3
or only 2, or 1,2 and 3 etc. this way it has a litte bit from the copy cat.
with the spring reverb inside panned with the tape it sounds
very very warm, bit phsing.
it s the korg stage echo se300, has the same knobs ms series style
the system of these very near to roland echos, the tape is not as long.
u would like a picture from the inside??

I definately want a pic from the inside. Space echos are cool, the heads need to be cleaned a lot but they are neat... never tried the korg one.

Ah, 3000i - I can see that clearly now. I was actually bidding on one of those recently but I was too broke to really, really go for it.
I remember those well. It just looked like it was in trouble, down there all by itself like it was on punishment or something :)

Thanks for the info on the korg echo. Sure, if you have a cam handy or already have pics by all means post them - but don't go through a bunch of trouble. That thing has to be badazz, spring reverb built in? Wow.

Figured I ought to throw up a few pics myself.
Pics are all crappy phone pics, so let me apologize for the quality in advance.
Also, we move things around from time to time - so if some of the pics look different that is why.

Thanks Modulator.
I've been buying records ever since I was old enough to walk into a record store by myself.
I have lost friends every time I have ever had to move

That is one organised setup man, very nice stuff too. Awesome... I suppose you work with other artists since you have several MPC/wheels "stations" haha..

And as for the korg echo, very nice shape... Nice to see one well taken care of. props!
