Because they are not claiming to just assemble some buttons, a casing and MIDI interface, but a full-blown workstation out of nothing. And I don't buy that. Unless, well....they sell it at like $3000, that would make sense maybe.

chassis molds are not cheap, neither are custom PCBs, nor is software/OS development
