hey guys,

i have my mpc1k jjos2 1.22 connected to an roland JV-1010.
Every Midi-Track is assigned to a Midi-Channel.
Everything works great!

My only Question is:

Is there a way to change the Track Velocity for a Midi Channel?

For Example:

I have my Rhodes Sound on channel 5 und my Base on Channel 6.
The Base is to loud und the Rhodes zo quiet.

Is there a way to change it in the MPC?

peace

On the Akai OS the track velocity could be adjusted from the main screen, JJ removed this.
Try this workaround:
Set a qlink to send out a midi cc (i think its #7 for volume).

velocity only corresponds to volume if you set it to correspond to volume on the controlled device - velocity does not always = volume. just adjust the level on the controlled device.

True.

So doing it with the cc for volume is even better than adjusting the velocity, as it doesnt matter if/how the velocity modulates the sound.

cant you set the levls inside the module, then these should be saved within that multi/performance patch. or better yet run everything into a mixer and adjust it there.
