Chord

I just got the OS Xl,
I really dont undertand how to use the Chord fonction. Can t even get a sound out of it!!
Is it only for midi sounds? I understand what is a chord, but dont understand how to use it from a sample?
I have watched the video from jj , but didnt help me much...
Any expert?

i don't have XL, but if i'm not mistaken it applies to MIDI and not samples. not sure. maybe someone that has it can comfirm.

you can use it for midi or with os2 instrument programs.
you basically assign each pad to a predefined set of chords so you can easily play our chord progressions
