reason m-audio and mpc 2500?

allright I'm looking to get a midi key board to trigger reason sounds and the n sequence them on the mpc
but it seems that most controlers only have midi out ? is that all I need . cuz on my korg I have in and out
but I can play my mpc programsthe keys, I don't need that just reason sounds on the mpc pads, so any help and or recomendations on midi device perferably m-audio would be helpful
