Is there a to tell if the new pads are in without opening it

most newwer black models come with it right?

is there a manufacture date range?

or any other characteristics........

just pull up the bottom right corner of pad 4. it should pull all the way out of the mpc. of it does then its the new pads. you shouldnt have to pull hard at all either. if it doesnt pull out then its the old style.
