I'm probably going to bleach my original pads, I'm putting 1000 pads on it anyway.
If bleaching goes well, that means you can dye them any color, the problem is that rubber dye is very expesive.
I'll let you know how it goes.

I'd think even without bleaching, if that doesn't work, that a grayish blue/red/green/etc would still be an acceptably unique coloration.
The black pads are sweet, but it would be cool to see some custom colors too.

Do you have a link to rubber dye?
I couldn't really find anything.

Google "RUBBERBOND", they make the best rubber dyes out there.

you wanna stain em.. get some good quality leather dye... graffiti heads know leather dye means business in the domain of permenant. Other wise try Marsh Ink. But I will advise you all... putting dye on stuff your fingers always have contact with might not be the greatest thing in the world...

Well the thing with leather die is that the color range isn't great.
Mostly dark, neutral colors.

Well, it was to get them colored, but I understand what you're saying.

I'm ordering my 1000pads tomorrow, then I shall begin experimentation on the 500 pads.
I'll probably record me installing the pads or take pictures.
