Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

HI EVERYBODY, i was saving my all sequence and song file when the mpc told me "disk error" or something similiar, the mpc was replacing the old file with the new file, then it went in crash. now i don't find this file, it's very important for me, this file is missing. can you help me please? sorry for my bad english.

sorry man dont think your gona get your files back , thats why always have a back up drive this is just the normal thing of producing know you know to save you work somewhere eles just incase this happens.

well when I get the scsi read error what I do is simply go to main screen, wait a few seconds (on wait screen) when you are in the main screen turn off your scsi device( was it scsi, external?) power it up again, go to disk menu (shift +3) and try to save again.
I get that sometimes and this is the process I go through.
It works for me but if you powered off the mpc , sorry bad news, go through your work again, maybe some of your work is stored already( part of it) on the disk, try to load it manually not with the ALL SEQ.
