Q-link to effects on the 5000?!

I just saw on the 5000 forum that their new os will have effects assignable to the Q-Links. Seems to be a pretty useful feature..... btw, sorry if this is already on XL, I haven't made the jump yet...

damn. only took those akai clowns until 2009 to come up with that one, huh?

that should have been in the mpc since day 1. so basic. along with recording fx parameter / routing tweaks.

it's a sequencer... it's got fx... so why can't you SEQUENCE THE FX?! duh!

yeh the only way to do it normally was by inserting them steps manually, back on my 2000xl, dunno is jj os can allow fx send param to be inserted in step edit.

It's a feature from the 4k.

JJ is not as far ahead as you guys seem to think, that's why Akai is closing the gap they are just bring 4k features to the 5k.
The 1k will remain bang for the buck and the 2500 will be a second king, but the more 4k they add to the 5k the more people are going to end up making it their choice.

Tell JJ really impress us by getting features from Roland.
How about skip back sampling or some of the crazy things the VP can do.
