how do you put samples into your mpc 1000?

how do you put samples into your mpc 1000? and how to you chop it? im having trouble with this. if someone can explain this step by step, i'll be grateful. thanks

what's good fam? glad to hear that you got yourself an mpc. but really..... your questions can easily be answered by reading the manual. if you don't have one, you can download it from akai's website.

i understand you want help with this but asking a question like this will not get you any answers because it looks like you don't want to do any leg work. ppl here will help you if it seems like you can help yourself first.

I know that you just got that MPC and are anxious to get after it and all, but you gotta realize that it'll take time to understand how it works and all.

I really do suggest reading the manual (even tho it seems like it's written for techies) and if you can swing it, get that "Beat Making on the MPC 1000" tutorial. That's a whole classroom of knowledge right there. You follow that tutorial (which will take some time as well) and you'll know your MPC backwards and forwards.

Oh yeah, also...go ahead and get the JJOS FREE version and learn on that (and that tutorial now supports it) instead of the Akai OS. That'll make choppin samples much easier for you.
