my motif and mpc are synced perfectly.

I also synced reason with no problems, except, the tempo is set at 0 but it plays back at 120.

Reason says the master (mpc) should set the tempo.

But it doesn't. I've got MIDI clock, midi time code and mmc all to on, and to be sure, i set it to all out on the 4k.

On the motif i manually set the tempo to be the same as on the mpc, but reason wont let me do this unless i switch back to internal sync.

So how to:

Make the mpc tell reason what bpm to use, OR have reason synced with the mpc, but be able to manually change the tempo.

I upload a PDF with step by step instructions on setting the MPC as a sequencer for various setups...

Great post mister sosa, but the pdf does not address the issue of synchronisation.

LOL

Thanks clint, I didnt download it for nothing.

There must be a way, since it's already synced, it's just the bpm parameter that is missing.

Once is enough. Don't try to hijack other threads, you have already started three or four on the same issue.
