is this the inverter?

on top left pin are the two ground soldered each other ( the Pink and white one for the input / the black for the output ) , on the top right pin is the 5V input and on the bottom left pin is the 85V output .

ok thats how i made it.(i got the same inverter)

the out of my power supply to the in of the inverter just measures 1.2 volt could you measure the connector if it is normal or not?

no you should have something around 5 V .My guess is there has been a short on your 5V line at one point , did you change your fuses ? try mesuring continuity ( power off ) of your fuses .

yeah I had the wrong fuses but now its right i think earlier it was around 5 V there on the power supply
what do you mean with mesuring the continuity of the fuses ? at the inverter?

no you take measurement at each metal end of the fuse itself ( just to make sure that your fuse is good , sometimes it looks good but it' not , you have a position on your multimeter with a triangle like symbol )

the fuses are ok I think there was a short at the 5 V line now it only come 1.2 V as input and 22 V out of the inverter

what exactly did you do before trying to install this inverter ?

I changed the backlight foil and descovered that it doesnt light up on start ( with the old inverter )

I am just thinking about if it ever was 5 V at the power supply out.. mh

you should recheck everything you did , unplug your inverter board , it only brings light to your screen , your mpc should work fine without it . in my opinion it's an el foil problem .

I hope that it is not the power supply that is damaged... because of the 1.2 instead of 5 V

When I start with a disk in.. it does nothing so I think perhaps the power supply is dead does anyone know what could be damaged? are there any schmatics of it?
