I have 32 meg installed. When i sampled it told me not enough memory. Can i clear it off? If so how? and when palying a drum sound from the pads i noticed the sound gets louder as the pad number gets higher..Is this normal.Thanks.

Ok. Sounds strange if the sound gets louder as you play up the pads. For starters...WHAT did you sample? The MPC is more suited to sample "one shots" quick sounds not entire musical passages...Secondly you may have some sort of velocity issue with your pads but that would be a first. Can you be more specific?

open the machine, take ram out, clean the connectors, clean the ram slots, put the ram back.

the other thing, maybe you have the 16 levels on? for a sample that you trigger?

if its getting louder as you hit the pads its because you got it on 16 levels.

Right sound on the pads are the same now ..i must of had it on 16 levels as you's said.As for the memory..im trying to sample from disk...i have a whole songin wav format on disk..the machine is 32 meg but the song was 72meg i think it said..questions is...how can i sample a song from a disk or a part of it.Thanks.

oh man, you CAN NOT sample from disk, you can sample from a SOUND SOURCE ONLY!!!

and now finally get the manual for your hardware, read, learn... read learn just until you get it.
