havent upgraded ram yet and im a newbie just figuring out how to do everything on the mpc1000.. have been running into a lot of clutter with loading samples and then running out of memory.. was wondering if there is any way to clear the memory without turning it off and back on.. like a soft reset.. or if there was someway to just remove certain samples from the memory.. can any body help?

From trim mode you can delete unwanted samples .....hit the window button in trim mode ..........Allso in program ...purge gets rid of any samples that arent assigned to a pad.........But on the real......I went like a year and a half without the ram upgrade.;...............Wow did I ever need it.....

This is something I'd like to know how to do! Been wondering about this for years.
I'm sure that JJ OS has something like this, even though I haven't found it.
Any ideas?

Cheers,

Save an empty project, when you load it you can start out blank again.

I tried this years ago but it never worked. I always tried saving it as "entire memory" and then load the entire folder.
Now, when I only load the project file, it works fine.
Thank you!
