pitch shift VS time stretch

I used the pitch shift for one of my long sample, the result wasn't good, poor quality.
I decided to do it "manually"= change the tune and use time stretch.
The result was way much better...
Does this happen to u guys also or is it me who doesn't know to setup the pitch shift correctly???

I tried to use the pitch shift a couple times ........Haven't touched it in about a year.....
Don't like it.

I try not to timestrecth anymore...............I used to do it alot...............Not really how your supposed to tho, I' stretch samples to 40 or whatever the lowest bpm is, and just keep doin over and over and over, till I was left with this noise That I've never herd.....Maybe never should've herd..............I think it was a mythical Hidden note!.....LOL

firstly, some (say 5 or 6) old blunt stanton 500AL's (needles) taped to your fingertips are required to ruffle up some new LadyGaGa MP3 to vinyl one-off pressing of the highest berlin cut order.

that'll give u your sitch. (its name derives from the old term for stitch, but we lost the 't' in modern translations).

second, get some shrooms dried from last autumn, simmer 'em up, drink most of that for your PHift,

the retch, comes naturally within 8 hours or so depending.

note: be creative, if u can still see yourself as a human being, on a planet called Earth, in a universe that doesn't revolve around it, look & listen to all around u carefully or you'll miss the coveted "sitch phiftretch" effect.
