Tracking MPC1k Into Cubase Studio 4

New Mpc user here...I have samples and drum patterns on my Mpc that I need to track. Instruments and other sounds are being tracked in from the Fantom. My question is what midi settings do I need to use on the Mpc to get correct sync with the tempo already set in Cubase? On the Fantom the setting is slave-midi. Thanks in advance...
